In order that the active principles of a cosmetic product are able to carry out their function, it is necessary for the oils in the product to have a formulation to that of a hydro lipid film covering the epidermis. For this reason Marzia de Servi uses only plant oils, (Jojoba, Avocado, Sweet Almonds) and not mineral oils which can instead block the skin's pores and alter the correct perspiration. To respect one's skin means treating it with products which have the same PH of the skin i.e. that is a normal pH.
Contrary to what is believed the pH which indicates how acid a solution is of our skin is not neutral (that is equal to seven), but is slightly acid (equal to five). In nature everything has a precise function, a slightly acid pH protects against the spread of bacteria.
